Bushwick Economic Development Corp

Their mission is to "foster and aid economically deprived members of the community to become active wage-earning, taxpaying members of the community. This is accomplished through the operation of housekeeping, shelter and other programs funded by various government agencies." A reported by the NYC Department of Investigations revealed that shelters operated by the Bushwick Economic Development Corp had a high number of open housing violations.
