Our Mission CareMessage is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower healthcare organizations with mobile technologies to improve health outcomes and reduce cost of care. Our Technology At CareMessage, we believe that better outcomes come from better patient engagement—and that mobile technology is at the heart of an effective engagement strategy for underserved patients. A 2011 Pew Research study demonstrated that text messaging usage is 2-4x higher among lower income, less educated populations, and that open rates typically reach 98%. With this in mind, we created a powerful platform that allows healthcare centers to use mobile messaging to remind patients of upcoming appointments, fill gaps in care, provide education and allow one-to-one provider-to-patient communications.
