Fred Keller, who founded Cascade Engineering in 1973, was instrumental in Grand Valley State Universitys successful campaign to bring undergraduate engineering education to Grand Rapids. He is a member of the Engineering Advisory Board and the Deans advisory board in the Seidman School of Business, and a member of the advisory cabinet for the Ethics center at Grand Valley. Fred is a trustee at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, a visiting lecturer at Cornells Johnson School of Business, Chair of the Talent 2025 board, and Co-Chair of the Chamber of Commerce Diversity and Inclusion council. He is also a co-founding member of Grand Angels. He is the recipient of numerous high-profile awards including the White House's Ron Brown Award for Corporate Leadership, the West Michigan Hall of Fame, and the Ernst & Young Social Responsibility Entrepreneur Award.
