R Michael Murray Jr

Mr. Murray serves on the Board of Directors for GEN3 Partners where his years of experience with McKinsey and Company provide guidance and expertise in assisting GEN3. Recently retired from McKinsey, he also serves as a Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Company. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Boston College, chairs the Finance and Audit Committees, and sits on the Executive Committee. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Aspen Music Festival and School, chairs the Strategic Planning Committee and Investment Committee, and sits on the Finance and Audit Committees. He is also the co-chair of the board of Aspen Public Radio. He is a member of the Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Chicago and sits on their Investment Committee; a Life Trustee of The Ravinia Festival and sits on the Board's Nominating Committee; a member of the Advisory Committee of Evanston Capital Management; and a member of the Board of Directors of Textura Co. Mr. Murray received a B.S. in physics and a M.A. in mathematics from Boston College and an M.B.A. from Wharton Graduate School. Prior to joining McKinsey, he worked with the David Taylor Model Basin, a research laboratory of the United States Navy, Bureau of Ships.
