James G Martin

James G. Martin has served as a director since 1996. He has been associated with the Carolinas HealthCare System since January 1993, where he currently serves as a Corporate Vice President. He served as Governor of the State of North Carolina from 1985 to 1992 and was a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing the Ninth District of North Carolina, from 1973 until 1984. Dr. Martin is also a director of Palomar Medical Technologies, Inc. and the North Carolina Capital Management Trust. Dr. Martin serves on the Compensation and Nominating/Corporate Governance Committees and is the Chairman of the Compensation Committee.
