J.J. Cutler is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Philadelphia office and a member of the Education, Nonprofit & Social Enterprise practice, the Marketing, Sales, and Strategy Officers practice, and Healthcare practice. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, J.J. was a national sector leader with an executive search firm focused on senior-level and executive searches for nonprofit, social service, and education-related organizations, including philanthropies, foundations, and public-private partnerships. He was previously an executive vice president with ARAMARK, where he led sales, retention, and marketing for a $1.5-billion division. J.J. also served as deputy vice dean, MBA Career Management, Admissions, and Financial Aid, at The Wharton School, the University of Pennsylvania where he achieved significant improvements in student satisfaction and career placement rates. J.J. started his career at Johnson & Johnson where he held senior roles in leading consumer brands, wellness carve-outs, JVs, and biotech. He is the strategic planning committee chairman of the Philadelphia Independence Visitors Center Corporation, chairs the marketing committee of the National Museum of American Jewish History, and on the selection advisory council of the Green Light Fund in Philadelphia.
