Rich McKay became president and CEO of the Atlanta Falcons in 2011, having first been hired by owner and chairman Arthur M. Blank in 2004 to serve as the team’s general manager. During McKay’s tenure, the Falcons have made it to the playoffs seven times, attended three NFC Championship Games, and played in Super Bowl LI. He played a key role in the search that led to the hiring of new head coach Dan Quinn in 2015, and was instrumental in the negotiation and development of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
