Jill Gabbe is a partner and chief creative officer of gabbegroup, a public relations and marketing firm in New York City. Gabbe oversees national programs for such clients as The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Indiana University, and The Parthenon Group’s Education Practice, among others. She was formerly senior vice president and a member of the board of directors of Lippincott, a corporate and brand identity consulting firm. Earlier in her career, Gabbe held senior positions with Carl Byoir & Associates, Newsome & Company, and the Stop & Shop Companies, Inc. She is a recipient of a Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America, a Silver Quill from the International Association of Business Communicators, and several other communications awards, including an honorable mention from PRWeek for Conoco’s initial public offering and split-off from DuPont. She is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society, the leading organization for senior communications professionals. Gabbe is chair of the board of the award-winning Vineyard Theatre in New York, one of a handful of theaters in the United States to bring new American musicals and plays to the stage. She earned a BA from Suffolk University in 1973 and holds an MA in English from Villanova University.
