Anthony McFarland

Anthony “Booger” McFarland is a college football analyst for SEC Network, the 24/7 multiplatform network devoted to the Southeastern Conference and operated by ESPN. He joined ESPN in April 2014 as an inaugural member of the first roster of commentators for the network. From 1995-98, McFarland was a defensive standout in the SEC playing for the LSU Tigers. He boasts All-American First Team and All-SEC First Team awards as a fiercely feared defensive tackle. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 1999 NFL Draft, he was a main fixture on their menacing defensive line for seven years, winning a Super Bowl under then-head coach Jon Gruden. McFarland went on to win a second Super Bowl with the Indianapolis Colts before retiring in 2007. McFarland joins ESPN after hosting a popular sports radio show in Tampa Bay, Fla. since 2012. He graduated from LSU in 1999 with a degree in business management.
