Since Alba helped start eco-friendly Honest Co. in 2011, the Santa Monica, California-based retailer has expanded from selling natural baby products to home cleaning and beauty items online and in stores. The Honest Company went public Wednesday morning May 5 2021, raising $413 million in its IPO. The company, which trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker HNST, opened strong, with its stock price rising more than 40 percent intra-day, and closing at $23 per share. The company was valued at more than $1.4 billion in its IPO.
