Eddie Mahe Jr

Eddie Mahe, Jr. first became involved in politics in Albuquerque in 1963 and became Executive Director of the Bernalillo County Republican Party in 1965. In 1967, Mr. Mahe was named Executive Director of the State Republican Party and in 1969 became the western regional fieldman for the National Republican Congressional Committee. He was campaign manager for Paul Eggers and then Pete Domenici and was then named Political Director of the Republican National Committee. In the fall of 1974, Mr. Mahe was named Executive Director before being designated Deputy Chairman of the RNC. Mr. Mahe left the RNC in 1977 to establish his own consulting firm.
