Curits Probst is a Managing Director at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York where he is the Head of Asset-Backed Securities Finance. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1998 as a Vice President. Prior to joining the firm, Curtis worked at Salomon Brothers Inc, most recently as a Vice President in the Structured and Project Finance Group. Mr. Probst has been involved in a wide range of capital raising, investing, and advisory assignments across several industries. He has spent considerable time focusing on the energy and power sector, working with numerous clients including American Electric Power, CenterPoint Energy, Consolidated Edison, Dominion Resources, DTE Energy, Edison International, Exelon, FirstEnergy, Northeast Utilities, NSTAR and Puget Sound Energy. He has been involved in the area of energy efficiency, having financed utility demand side management programs and having served on the Financial Advisory Committee for the U.S. Department of Energy's North American Energy Monitoring and Verification Protocol. Curtis Probst graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary (Canada) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is a member of both the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.
