Jeanette Moy is currently Chief Strategy Officer & Vice President for Strategic Planning at the Brooklyn Public Library. Jeanette is responsible for strategic planning, expanding the Library's capacity to collect and interpret statistics, and informing decisions about the delivery of services in Brooklyn's dynamic neighborhoods as definitions of literacy and community needs change rapidly. Jeanette served as Deputy Chief of Staff for the Deputy Mayor for Operations and Senior Policy Advisor with the Mayor's Office of Operations. She joined the City in 2008, spearheading the effort to improve customer service though performance management and organizing government services around customers. She developed the City's strategy to accelerate services to small businesses and enable entrepreneurs to open their businesses faster. Previously, Jeanette worked as a senior consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton and product manager for WellPoint. She served as a community advocate and leader, promoting civic engagement and leadership among Asian Pacific Islander Americans. Jeanette is a proud product of NYC public schools, and graduated from Stuyvesant High School. She holds a BA from the University of Rochester, and resides in Queens with her husband Kenneth and their two daughters.
