John H Scully

Mr. Scully served as a director of the general partner of the former master limited partnership from November 1992 through July 1999 and was elected to the Board of Directors of the Company on July 1, 1999. He is the managing director of SPO Partners & Co., a private investment firm. Mr. Scully also serves as chairman of the board for Advent Software, Inc. He also is the Vice Chairman of Stanford Hospital and Clinics. Inaddition, Scully is chairman and founder of the Making Waves Educational Program. Scully holds an A.B. from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
