He has been the Executive Director of Cardinal Health since November 2007. From April 2006 to November 2007, he served as Executive Chairman of the Board of Cardinal Health. From 1979 to April 2006, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cardinal Health. Mr. Walter also serves as a director of American Express Company and Battelle Memorial Institute and is a member of The Business Council.
