John Gargiulo is VP of Marketing and Business Development at BlueStacks, a mobile startup that has raised 15M in venture funding from Andreessen-Horowitz, Radar Partners, Redpoint, Qualcomm, Intel and others. He graduated from Colgate University and has 12+ years of business experience, formerly as a creative at the legendary ad agency Cliff Freeman and Partners, known for Wendys’ “Where’s the Beef'” and Little Caesar’s “Pizza Pizza” campaigns. Before moving to California, he founded and ran a small chain of restaurants in New York City called Swich. He has been involved with Democrats for Education Reform since its inception and serves on the boards of Education Reform Now and Bronx Success Academy II, part of Eva Moskowitz’s Success Academy Charter School Network. He and his wife Sidney, also on the Leadership Council, live in Palo Alto.
