Jamie Ochiltree III

Jamie Ochiltree, III, has served as senior executive vice president for Selective's Insurance Operations since February 2004. In this position, he leads the development and implementation of Selective's property and casualty initiatives, including corporate and field underwriting, the company's regional offices as well as the Selective Service Center. Mr. Ochiltree joined Selective in 1994 to help the company develop and implement a full business plan for geographic expansion into the Midwest. He assumed overall responsibility for branch and field operations later that year and played a major role in developing Selective's highly successful field underwriting and claims programs. He has also had responsibility for the claim operation since 1996. Mr. Ochiltree was promoted to executive vice president in 1999 and to senior executive vice president in 2004. After beginning his insurance career as an independent agent, Mr. Ochiltree worked with the Cincinnati Insurance Company in Cincinnati, Ohio for 15 years, the last five as vice president of sales and marketing. He is a 1974 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and a graduate of the Wharton School's Advanced Management Program. Mr. Ochiltree serves on the Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation board.
