Notes Gila heads Social Finance Israel´s Impact Advisory Practice, bringing a blend of strategy, client stewardship, and impact assessment in human rights, international development, ESG analysis, and impact research and innovation to her work at SFI. As Product Manager for the Impact Research and Innovation team at ClearlySo, Europe´s leading Impact Investment bank, Gila co-developed an award-winning proprietary impact tool for private equity and venture capital investors to assess the impact of their portfolio companies in line with material ESG considerations, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and globally-applied impact investing metrics and business models. Previously, as an analyst with the Asset Owners Disclosure Project (AODP), Gila assessed the climate risk of global pension funds. Gila began her career in impact as Director of Development at Physicians for Human Rights-Israel, a human rights organization championing equitable health access on behalf of women, migrants, asylum seekers, prisoners and detainees, Palestinian residents, Bedouin and low-income groups. Gila has an MBA from London Business School and an M.A. in Near Eastern Studies from NYU. Alongside her work at SFI, Gila is passionate about Impact Investing in the Middle East. She serves on the HQ team at Techfugees, a London-based enterprise connecting the tech community to the needs of refugees. Gila speaks Hebrew, Arabic, French, and English (mother tongue).
