OVERVIEW
Jobs for the Future develops programs and advances public policies that increase college readiness and career success to build a more highly skilled, competitive workforce. It provides the policy community with tools to understand and adopt evidence-based education reform, connects and supports schools and districts to implement innovative local and statewide student assessment systems, and builds communications capacity among advocates for deeper learning. The deeper learning movement will benefit from establishing an evidence base, analyzing advances in policy design, and improving assessments to include improved measures of student outcomes regarding academic knowledge, higher-order thinking skills, and academic mindsets.
