The center will conduct research and analysis on the mix of knowledge, skills, and abilities that define the so-called bright outlook jobs listed in the U.S. Department of Labor’s O*NET database of occupations. An analysis of the extent to which deeper learning outcomes characterize the workforce needed to fill these emerging and high-growth occupations, as well as other jobs, will help strengthen the case for why deeper learning is important for all students.
