Background
Mr. Jerry L. Fiddler serves as the Principal of Zygote Ventures. Mr. Fiddler serves as an Advisor of Foundation Capital. He has also been a Foundation Capital Executive-in-Residence. He Co-founded Wind River Systems Inc. in 1983 and served as its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman for 23 years. In the early 1990s, Mr. Fiddler led Wind River through its transition from a consulting firm to the leader in development software and services. Prior to founding Wind River, Mr. Fiddler was a Computer Scientist in the Real-Time Systems Group at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory. He was an Interim Chief Executive Officer of Chabot Space & Science Center. He serves as the Chairman of Solazyme. Mr. Fiddler served as the Chairman of TerraVia Holdings, Inc. since 2004 until March 2016. He served as the Chairman of Rapid Logic, Inc. He served as a Lead Independent Director of TerraVia Holdings, Inc. since March 2016 until March 31, 2017. Mr. Fiddler serves as a Director of several privately held companies.
