Mr. Collins has held a variety of positions within Rep. Cantor's office over the years. He was Mr. Cantor's chief of Staff until January of 2009 when he was replaced by Kristi Way.
Mr. Collins is now "the deputy chief of staff in Cantor's leadership office", according to the Richmond Times Dispatch.
An interesting thing to watch regarding this professional relationship is the fact that Mr. Collins is married to a woman, named Susan Stilts Collins, who according to her Florida University alumni bio is "a hospital senior account specialist for Lilly Hospital Group in Washington, DC."
Despite being affiliated with a large publicly traded company, a basic Google search for "Lilly Hospital Group" directs one to on Organization called the "Center for Health Transformation."

Eli Lilly is suddenly the 4th highest donor to Congressman Cantor's Campaign Cmte. and leadership PAC this current cycle at $12,500, and counting.
Further inspection of data on Open Secrets, reveals that Eli Lilly has never even been amongst Cantor's top 20 donors in previous election cycles. |
