Recently, as a vice president at L-1 Identity Solutions , Mr. Van der Harst led the sales capture teams from conception through the closing of some of the largest biometric deployments ever realised: the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India), a project with the scope of biometric registration of the entire population of India, the Indonesia NID (National Identification Program) deploying a 170 million person iris, face and fingerprint multi-biometric platform, as well as a 130 million person face recognition biometric engine for the Pakistan NID. |
