Prior to re-joining RHD in 2002 as Senior Vice President - RHD and President - Donnelley Media, McDonald was President of SBC Directory Operations, where he led the Yellow Pages businesses for SBC's Southwestern Bell, Pacific Bell, Ameritech and SNET units. McDonald was President and Chief Executive Officer of Ameritech Publishing's Yellow Pages business from 1994 to 1999, when Ameritech was acquired by SBC. He headed Ameritech's Yellow Pages business in the upper Midwest and was instrumental in the launch of Ameritech Interactive Media and Ameritech Interactive Media Services. McDonald was President and Chief Executive Officer of DonTech from 1993 to 1994. Before that, he served in a variety of sales positions at R.H. Donnelley, after beginning his career at National Telephone Directory Corporation. McDonald has served in the past on the RHD Board of Directors as well as the Board of CMGI, an Internet development company, and DCCI, a Canadian call-measurement company. He is also a past Vice Chairman of the Yellow Pages Publishers Association.
