Wendell J Knox

Wendell J. Knox has been a director of THG since 1999. Mr. Knox is President and Chief Executive Officer of Abt Associates, a policy research and business consulting firm, where he has been employed since 1969. Mr. Knox is also a director of Eastern Bank, a mutually-owned commercial bank. The Board has determined that Mr. Knox is an independent director, based on the independence standards adopted by the Board and the requirements of the NYSE. Mr. Knox is Chairman of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. If re-elected, Mr. Knox's term of office as a director of THG will expire in 2011.
