Gary Filizetti

Filizetti joined Devcon in 1980 and served as Vice President in charge of Estimating and Construction until his appointment as President in 1986. Over the years, he has been directly involved in the construction of more than twenty million square feet of tenant improvement work and over thirty million square feet of building shells including major facilities for Cisco Systems, Inc., Adobe Systems, SGI, Yahoo! and Network Appliance. Specialized construction projects include a state-of-the-art training facility for the San Francisco Forty-Niners football team and the San Jose Jet Center, a privately owned and operated airport facility accommodating both private and corporate aircraft. A veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Filizetti served as a project manager for another large Northern California construction company immediately prior to joining Devcon. He also served as a contract negotiator for Fairchild Semiconductor in both the Bay Area region of California and in the Far East. A graduate of Santa Clara University, Filizetti holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Business Administration degree in Commerce.
