Jeff Clarke is Executive Chairman of the Travelport Board of Directors, appointed in June 2011. As Executive Chairman, Jeff is responsible for ensuring that the board is effective in setting and implementing the group’s direction and strategy. Jeff leads Travelport’s strategic investments - including serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Orbitz Worldwide - mergers and acquisitions and corporate development in coordination with the CEO and board of directors. Previously, from May, 2006 through May, 2011, Jeff was Chief Executive Officer and President of Travelport, and served as a Director on the Travelport Board of Directors. Prior to Travelport, Jeff was Chief Operating Officer for CA, Inc. (formerly Computer Associates), where he had responsibility for sales, services, business development, partnerships, alliances, finance and information technology. Before joining CA, Inc., Jeff was Executive Vice President, Global Operations for Hewlett-Packard Company (HP). As Executive Vice President, Merger Integration, Jeff played a key role in integrating the operations, financials and cultures of HP and Compaq Computer Corporation, following the $19 billion merger of the two companies. Jeff began his career with Digital Equipment Corporation in 1985. He joined Compaq in 1998 following its acquisition of Digital and served in various positions of increasing responsibility in strategic finance before being appointed Compaq’s Chief Financial Officer in 2001. Jeff holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Geneseo and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University. Jeff is a board member of Red Hat, Inc., an NYSE listed firm and a member of the Geneseo Foundation Board of Directors.
