Edward A Lapekas

Edward A. Lapekas has been one of our Directors since October 2001. Mr. Lapekas has been Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Tegrant Corporation since March 2007. Mr. Lapekas has also been a Director of Pliant Corporation since June 2006. Mr. Lapekas was Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Pliant Corporation from October 2003 until June 2006 and interim Chief Executive Officer of Pliant Corporation from August 2003 until October 2003. Mr. Lapekas was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Nexpak Corporation from November 2002 until March 2003. From October 2000 until June 2001, Mr. Lapekas was Executive Chairman of Packtion Corporation, an e-commerce packaging venture. From May 1996 until July 2000, Mr. Lapekas was employed by American National Can Group, Inc., last serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, Mr. Lapekas served as Deputy Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Schmalbach-Lubeca AG. From 1971 until 1991, Mr. Lapekas was employed by Continental Can Company where he served in various strategy, planning, operating and marketing capacities.
