Gregg Gonsalves

Gregg Gonsalves is the Sector Head of the Aerospace and Defense Group in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Company. He is also a Managing Director in the Industrial Group, co-heads the Firmwide Black Network and serves on the Firmwide Diversity Committee. Gonsalves joined the firm in 1993 in the New York Merger Department. Over the course of his career, he has worked on numerous mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions in a range of industries including aerospace and defense, automotive, building products, chemicals, consumer products, high technology, metals and mining, paper and forest products, retail and telecommunications. Gonsalves has been responsible for running the Aerospace and Defense sector since 1999. He became a Managing Director in 2001 and a Partner in 2004. Gregg earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University's School of Engineering and Applied Science in 1989 and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business in 1993. He serves on the Board of Directors of A Better Chance, Inc. and the Columbia Engineering School Council.
