Richard R. Roscitt is a Trustee and Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of Stevens Institute of Technology. He serves as non-executive chairman of Sapien Software, LLC, a leading software-as-a-service provider of global human resources, talent management, and managed human resource solutions. From 2007 to 2010, Roscitt served as chairman and chief executive officer of SMobile Systems, Inc., a software company focused solely on smartphone and tablet security solutions for the enterprise, service provider, and consumer markets. Prior to joining SMobile, Roscitt was president and chief operating officer of MCI, leading that company out of its bankruptcy and corporate governance crisis. Prior to his work at MCI, Roscitt served in a variety of executive roles including president, CEO, and chairman of ADC Telecommunications, Inc.; director of ICT Group, Inc.; director of Tell Me Networks; president of AT&T Business Services; and CEO and president of AT&T Solutions, where he served for a total of 28 years. During that time, he was responsible for the firm's efforts to service the communications needs of the business market through AT&T Solutions, AT&T Data and Internet Services, AT&T Global Network Services, and the Global Sales organization. He holds a B.E. from Stevens Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
