Larry Field, the founder and principal of NSB Associates, has been involved in the acquisition and development of more than $1 billion of real estate in Southern California. Mr. Field began his career shortly after graduating from Baruch College in New York. From 1959 to 1965, Mr. Field was the principal of a real estate brokerage company in New York City. In mid 1965, Mr. Field relocated to Los Angeles from New York City and until 1968 managed property and represented, among others, Harry Helmsley and Loews Corporation in the management of their properties in Los Angeles. Prior to forming NSB in 1983, Mr. Field was a partner of The Richlar Partnership, which he co-founded in 1976. He developed over one million square feet of commercial and industrial property in the west Los Angeles area, and built more than 800 single-family homes in Ventura and San Bernardino counties. Since 1983 Mr. Field has operated as NSB Associates which develops, invests in and manages commercial properties in Southern California. A decade ago he established the Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship at Baruch College and later established two chairs in entrepreneurship. His other involvements include the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he is a member of the Board of Governors and donated major gifts for research into diabetes and memory disorders. He is also on the boards of The Los Angeles Music Center; The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and many others. Larry holds a Bachelor’s (B.B.A.) from Baruch College and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from New York Law School.
