Patrick S. Lancaster is Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer & Secretary of AAM. He was appointed to this position in 2002. Lancaster is responsible for leading AAM’s corporate governances activities, regulatory compliance and business ethics program. In addition to oversight of all legal activities of the company’s worldwide operations and its subsidiaries, he is responsible for AAM’s global government relations. Lancaster began his career at AAM in June 1994, shortly after AAM began operations on March 1, 1994. His first assignment at AAM was to build an internal legal department and serve as Corporate Secretary. In 1999, Lancaster led the legal activities on AAM’s successful initial public offering. He has been promoted to positions of increasing responsibility while at AAM. Prior to joining AAM, Lancaster served as General Counsel and Assistant Secretary for Fruehauf Trailer Corporation, which at the time was one of the leading transportation equipment manufacturers in the world. He worked for Fruehauf from 1981 to 1994. Lancaster is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals and other professional organizations.
