Retired Vice Chairman, RPM International Inc. Mr. Karman holds a B.S. degree from Miami University (Ohio) and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Karman taught corporate finance at the University of Wisconsin and was an Investment Manager at The Union Bank & Trust Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan, prior to joining RPM. From 1973 through 1978, Mr. Karman served as our Executive Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer and, prior to that time, as Vice President -- Finance and Treasurer. From 1978 to 1999, he served as our President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Karman also served as Chief Financial Officer from 1982 to 1993, and again in 2001.
