Mr. Hunter is the former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Solutia Inc., a specialty chemicals company created in 1997 as a spin-off from the Monsanto Company. Mr. Hunter joined Monsanto in 1969 and held a number of executive and senior management positions until his retirement in 2004. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Penford Corporation and Energizer Holdings, Inc.
