Dr. Irene Snow has a firsthand perspective of the issues confronting the medical field today. In 1988, she joined the Buffalo Medical Group, becoming Associate Medical Director in 1999 and Medical Director in 2001. Under her leadership, BMG grew from 60 to 110 physicians, offering services in 27 Western New York locations. Snow was instrumental in implementing a team approach to care, through which patients could receive services from several specialists or subspecialists during a single office visit. A graduate of the University at Buffalo, she has performed medical missionary work in Honduras. In addition to the BMG Board of Directors, Snow is a member of the American College of Physicians, Erie County Medical Society, American Medical Association and the American College of Physician Executives.
