Lednicky joined Dynegy predecessor Destec Energy, Inc. in 1991. He has held positions of increasing responsibility at Dynegy, including Executive Vice President, Commercial and Development and, prior to that, Executive Vice President, Strategic Planning and Corporate Business Development. Lednicky earned both a bachelor's of arts degree and master's of business administration degree from Rice University.
