She served as Chairman of the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission from 1986 to 1989, and previously served as assistant secretary for Management and Administration for the U.S. Department of Energy as well as Senior Vice President of First Chicago Corporation. Ms. Hesse serves as Chairman of the boards of Enbridge Energy Company, Inc., Enbridge Energy Partners, Enbridge Energy Management and is a member of the Audit, and Finance and Risk Committees of each.
