Chad Hurley is Co-Founder & CEO of AVOS Systems, a next generation development platform that runs del.icio.us, Mei.fm and the soon to be released Zeen.com. AVOS has three offices worldwide, located in San Mateo, CA, Dunedin, New Zealand and Beijing, China. The company recently raised Series A funding from NEA and Google Ventures. In 2005, Hurley and Chen co-founded YouTube, the world’s largest video site, which was acquired by Google 18 months later for $1.76B. Hurley remained CEO of YouTube until November 2010. Prior to YouTube, Hurley was the first user-interface designer at PayPal and played a fundamental role in its early development. Hurley received a B.A in Fine Art at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
