THEODORE L. CHANDLER, JR. is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President each of Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation ("Lawyers Title"), Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company ("Commonwealth") and Transnation Title Insurance Company ("Transnation"), all of which are wholly owned subsidiaries of the Company. He held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from January 2005 to December 2005; President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company from January 2004 to December 2004, and Chief Operating Officer from July 2002 through December 2004. Mr. Chandler is a director of Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Company. He is Chairman of the Executive Committee and has been a director since 1991.
