Her professional achievements include the lifetime achievement award in public relations from Women In Communications in 1999, and lifetime achievement award in 2000 from Inside PR, the leading publication in the field. A native of Armonk , N.Y. , Ms. Hergenhan is a graduate of Syracuse University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. She currently resides in Fairfield , CT where she is also active in numerous civic organizations.
