C Alan Walker

C. Alan Walker is President and Chief Executive Officer of Bradford Energy Company, Inc., Bigler, Pennsylvania since 1975. He is also President of the following incorporated companies: Walcoal; Al Hamilton Contracting Company. Prior to working in the coal industry, he was employed as a Product Manager by E.I. DuPont de Nemours in Wilmington, Delaware. Born in 1944, Mr. Walker graduated from Clearfield High School in 1962 and obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Bucknell University where he is a Trustee and serves as a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Nominating Committee. He received his Master's Degree in Business Administration from Penn State University in 1968. Mr. Walker is currently a member and past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Coal Association and a member past Chairman of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry. He is a member and past Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pennsylvanians for Effective Government, and the Pennsylvania Energy Development Authority. He is also Past President of The Pennsylvania Society, and serves on the Leadership Committee Member of the Republican State Committee of Pennsylvania.
