Conor Mullett is Co-founder of Updata Partners. Conor has approximately twenty years of private equity investment experience with a dedicated focus on information technology related opportunities since the mid 1990s. He has invested in a broad range of information technology sectors and is currently most actively focused on investing in internet related opportunities in sectors such as ecommerce and digital media and other solutions including marketing automation, information and data services and payment related technologies. Prior to joining Updata, Conor was a Senior Vice President with William E. Simon & Sons, a New Jersey and California-based private equity firm founded by the former Treasury Secretary, where he was involved in a broad variety of sectors and initiated a focus on an IT driven investment strategy. At Simon, and earlier as a member of GE Capital’s Corporate Finance Group, Conor had been instrumental in financing the growth and acquisition of public and private companies aggregating hundreds of millions of dollars of market value. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at the Pingry School, a leading independent school in New Jersey. Conor has served on the New Jersey Technology Council's Venture Advisory Board and was recognized as Financier of the Year in 2007 by the NJTC. Conor received an M.B.A from Columbia Business School and a B.A in Economics from the College of William and Mary.
