From 2002 to 2003, he served as Chairman of National Grid USA and as an executive director of National Grid (UK). From 1993 to 2002, he served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation. He currently serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Metropolitan Development Foundation of Central New York. He also serves as a director of Consol Energy Inc.
