Paul is the Chairman of Fireman Capital Partners and has been since the Firm’s inception in 2008. From 1979 to 2006, Paul was chairman & CEO of Reebok International Ltd in Canton, Massachusetts. He introduced the first women’s athletic shoe in 1982 and took Reebok public in 1985. Throughout his tenure at Reebok, Paul began aggressive international expansion, which included not only creating and managing Reebok’s core brand, but also doing the same with many subsidiaries, including Greg Norman, Rockport, The Hockey Company, CCM, Boston Whaler, Ralph Lauren Footwear and Rbk. In 2006, Paul sold Reebok to Adidas. Before founding Reebok, Paul was an officer in an outdoor sports distributorship owned by his family. He attended Boston University and is a graduate of Tabor Academy. Paul and his wife, Phyllis, are co-founders of the Paul & Phyllis Fireman Family Foundation, one of Massachusetts’ largest private foundations.
