Jeffrey B Child

Mr. Child has been one of our Directors since 2003. Since July 2004, Mr. Child has served as the Chief Financial Officer of a family office of an unaffiliated third party. From February 1999 through June 2003, Mr. Child served as a Managing Director, U.S. equity capital markets at Banc of America Securities LLC, where he was responsible for its public equity underwriting business in the United States. Prior to that, he served as Managing Director of the Banc of America Securities' healthcare group. Mr. Child also serves on the Board of Directors of ev3 Inc. and is a Trustee of the Menlo Park City School District Board of Education. On May 11, 2005, Mr. Child was re-elected as a Director of the Company for a three-year term that expires in 2008.
