One of the trio of Brazilians who share control of Anheuser-Busch Inbev, the world's largest beer company, and now also share control of hamburger chain Burger King, which they bought for $4 billion last year. With his former investment banking partners and fellow billionaires Jorge Paulo Lemann and Carlos Alberto Sicupira, turned around Ambev, a Brazilian beermaker, and merged it with Interbrew of Belgium in 2004 to form Inbev. In November 2008 Inbev acquired Anheuser-Busch for $52 billion. The trio also control Brazilian retailer Lojas Americanas. Telles reportedly enjoys spearfishing and spending time in Monaco.
