David D Aufhauser

David Aufhauser has a diverse practice in complex financial, securities and commercial litigation and investigation. Representative matters have included securities, banking, trade secrets, Bank Secrecy Act and sanctions, health care, and regulatory controversies on behalf of directors, officers and corporate clients. David joined Williams & Connolly in 1977, and practiced with the firm until 2001, when he became Senate-confirmed general counsel to the U.S. Department of Treasury. In 2004, David became managing director and global general counsel at the investment bank, UBS, a position he held for four years before returning to the firm.
