Prior to joining Barrantys LLC, Lee was an Executive Vice President and Management Committee member for the $20-billion-asset First Niagara Financial Group, where he led the firm's Wealth Management, Risk Management and Corporate Marketing activities. He was the Executive Vice President of Global Private Client Services, Product Development & Central Operations for The Bank of New York, where, from 1999 to 2005, he ran the firm’s high-net-worth activities—with over $60 billion in assets under management and administration worldwide. From 1985-1999, he was with the legacy firms of Chase Manhattan and Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase & Co.) in various Managing Director capacities, where he led, for example, the Global Private Bank Entrepreneurs & Business Owners Segment with $9.3 billion in assets under management and administration. He also oversaw product and services groups supporting over $850 million per year in revenues and 2,000-plus employees. From 1993-1997, Lee was based in London, where he was in charge of $18 billion in client assets extending from Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Lee is Chairman of the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, serves on the Boards of The Patrick P. Lee Foundation and Evans Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE). He has been a member of the Canisius College Board of Regents since 2006. He also served on the Atlantic Health System Board and was Chairman of Mountainside Hospital. Lee has a B.S. from Canisius College and an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology, Westbury, New York.
