Lela Rose

Lela Rose was born in Dallas, Texas in 1968. In 1991 she graduated from the University of Colorado, and graduated from New York's Parsons School of Design two years later. She continued her education under another designer, until she started her own 'Lela Rose' line in 1998. In the fall of 2006 she started the 'Lela Rose Wedding Collection', and the 'Lela Rose Bridesmaid' line in Spring of 2009. She currently lives in Manhattan with her husband, Brad Jones, her little dog, and her two children Grey (7-year old son) and Rosey (2-year old daughter). She is currently working on a line of shoes that will be found at the affordable Payless Shoe Store. Her signature style, which has a feminine look is said to show "dedication to the feminine silhouette, her architectural lines, precise tailoring, and use of saturated colors [which] gave the collection more universal appeal. "
