DelGrosso worked for a consulting firm in Washington, D.C., before returning to Blair County to make his 2004 candidacy a full-time job. He is a 1994 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor's degree in economics. After his service as a naval officer, he received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan while working full-time in the automotive industry. DelGrosso also worked as a corporate strategy consultant in Chicago, "helping some of the largest companies in the United States and Europe with their most pressing business concerns," according to his Web site. While working in the nation's capitol, DelGrosso said he consulted the federal government "in an effort to improve efficiency and cut waste from federal agencies." He also studied public policy at American University. DelGrosso is married to the former Sherry Campagna of Cambria County. The couple resides in Tipton, Blair County.
